Hi. My name is Richard Otero. I was born in Puerto Rico on October 24, 1984. My father is from Ponce. In Ponce they celebrate carnival in February. My mother was born also in Puerto Rico, but in San Juan. I came to Providence when I was 9 months old. I like Puerto Rico more than Providence because it's not in Puerto Rico. In Providence we have to stay inside because it is cold.
I like to play basketball because that is my favorite sport, and baseball too. I like to play basketball all day because if I have nothing to do I will play with my brother or my friends. I love riding my bike because I don't have to walk. And I like to have a goal and my goal is to get a good education and to be able to get to college and find a nice job.
