Sculptures form the basis for an installation that includes an interactive glove box, video works, and a performance series.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 28\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>This exhibition is an outcome of the Australia Research Council Linkage Project \u2018Curating Third Space: The Value of Art-Science Collaboration,\u2019 led by Dr. Lizzie Muller and Katie Dyer (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.australiacouncil.gov.au\/research\/curating-third-space\/\">LP150100481<\/a>). The exhibition, \u2018Human non Human,\u2019 asks how human experience is deeply enmeshed with non-human actors or agents, from plants and animals to molecules, data flows, buildings and robots. My portion of the exhibition focuses on &#8220;Food.&#8221; I was assisted in making the work by <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.unsw.edu.au\/news\/science-tech\/extinct-mouse-resurfaces-state%E2%80%99s-west\">Dr. Keith Leggett<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athenathebus.com\/\">Athena Thebus<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>This is the blurb from MAAS about the exhibition:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Featuring artists Dr Lindsay Kelley, Liam Young, Maria Fernanda Cardoso and Dr Ken Thaiday Snr with Jason Christopher, these works combine many perspectives, including architecture, design, biotechnology, botany, chemistry, film and performance. This series of immersive installations offer space in which to consider the past, present and possible futures of human and non-human relationships.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Dr Lindsay Kelley\u2019s\u00a0<em>Ballistic Bundts\u00a0<\/em>installation invokes a kitchen of the past and a kitchen of the future to question how the experience of eating changes when technologies are changing.
